Unfortunately for all the Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick lovers out there, their alleged engagement that was announced Wednesday is apparently untrue.
"WOW!! Where do the mags come up with this stuff? And claiming exclusives? Come on now," Kourtney tweeted about the stories that appeared in Life & Style and on PopEater.
E! spokesman John Rizzotti told the New York Post that rumors of Disick's proposal and a Kourtney and Scott E! spin-off are "not true."
Wednesday's story reported that Disick had proposed to Kardashian in the last episode of her "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" spinoff "Kourtney and Kim Take New York," and that the two would have a new E! show that followed them as they planned their wedding. Considering that her sister Khloé and her husband, Lamar Odom, are getting their own spin-off , called "Khloé and Lamar," that will follow them in their first year of marriage, the rumor didn't seem so far off.
Disick and Kardashian have been dating for many years and have a 1-year-old son, Mason Dash. Even without their own spin-off, the couple still will have plenty of appearances on E! shows including "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," "Kourtney and Kim Take New York," the upcoming "Khloé and Lamar" and any future seasons of "Khloé & Kourtney Take Miami."
