'You will always remember where you were ... when you heard the news,' Simon Cowell says, echoing the sentiments after Jackson's death.
By Tomika L. Anderson

Few people will forget where they were when they heard that the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, had died in June 2009. And now, the same can be said for 1980s and '90s Queen of Pop Whitney Houston.

The beloved, long-suffering singer died Saturday inside a Beverly Hills hotel room, hours before she was expected to attend a pre-Grammy Awards party thrown by her longtime mentor Clive Davis. And while the official cause of death is yet unknown — what's been speculated so far is that Houston may have drowned in the bathtub after taking prescription drugs, including Xanax — given her very public struggle with substance abuse, depression and anxiety over the past decade, it's hard not to conclude that some drug- or alcohol-related accident may have been to blame. It's much like, most recently, British singer Amy Winehouse and the late, great Michael Jackson before her, who died after taking a fatal cocktail of propofol and two other drugs. Also like Jackson, Houston's sudden death — at the age of 48 — has stopped the world in its tracks, an enormous, one-of-a-kind musical flame forever extinguished. Even Jackson's brother, Jermaine — who was first introduced to Houston years ago by Clive Davis at the same Beverly Hills Hilton where the singer passed away — could not help but draw the comparison. In an interview with CNN overnight, he paid tribute to the two fallen musical giants. "They shared a lot of success in the late '80s and they were great friends," he said. "I'm happy and honored to have been a part of their lives." And oh, what lives they led: Like Jackson — who died at just 50 years old, after years of struggling with personal demons — Houston, too, had an intensely profound and everlasting impact on the world of entertainment. Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson and countless other chart-topping entertainers have all name-checked her as their musical mentor, icon and inspiration: To date, she is one of the best-selling artists of all time, with more than 170 million albums, songs and videos sold. In her lifetime, Houston achieved what precious few of them have or ever will — stacking an astonishing 415 awards, including six Grammys, two Emmys, 22 American Music Awards, 30 Billboard Awards. Her voice, in its prime, was a national treasure. "X Factor" mastermind Simon Cowell may have summed it up the best: On "Piers Morgan Tonight," he said, "She was one of the greatest voices in our lifetime. Whitney was the number one singer that other singers want to emulate. People like that can't be manufactured. They've either got, it or they don't." He added, "You will always remember where you were and what you were doing when you heard the news." Like Michael before her, gone too soon.

MTV News' Sway and James Montgomery will be live from the Grammys red carpet tonight starting at 5 p.m. ET to get reactions from music's biggest stars on the death of Whitney Houston. Watch reactions and remembrances at MTV.com. 'I have not been approached to fill in for Robert Plant on the Zeppelin tour, but that isn't to say I won't be,' singer says.

Former SoundgardenSoundgarden and AudioslaveAudioslave frontman Chris CornellChris Cornell has spoken out for the first time about rumors that he's been asked to fill in for Robert PlantRobert Plant on a proposed Led ZeppelinLed Zeppelin reunion tour. The trek would feature original guitarist Jimmy Page, original bassist John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham taking over on drums for his late father, John Bonham. Cornell has been mentioned — along with Foo FightersFoo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, former Van HalenVan Halen frontman Sammy HagarSammy Hagar, White StripesWhite Stripes mastermind Jack White and Alter BridgeAlter Bridge's Myles Kennedy — as a potential Plant fill-in. "I've heard that from about 200 people now, and it might be one of those situations where it's just an online rumor or it might be true. But if you see anyone from Led Zeppelin around, let me know. I think I should actually fill in for Jimmy Page on the Robert Plant/ Alison Krauss tour." Cornell's denial comes just a day after AerosmithAerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford confirmed reports that frontman Steven Tyler recently met with Zeppelin for an impromptu jam session. "They did it for fun," Whitford said during an appearance on the syndicated show "Todd N Tyler Radio Empire." "I actually think Jimmy wanted Steven to come over and play a little bit because I think he was trying to light a fire under Robert." Rumors of a Zeppelin reunion tour have abounded since the iconic band played a single reunion set last year at London's O2 Arena. Twisted SisterTwisted Sister frontman Dee Snider added fuel to the fire last month when he revealed that the group was thinking of touring, with or without Plant. According to Snider, the rest of the band told Plant, " 'We're all rehearsed, we're ready to go. Here's a gazillion dollars on the table. If you don't do it, we're going out with this kid [Myles Kennedy].' " "And he can sing the sh-- out of Zeppelin," Snider added. "They're going to hope that Robert, at the last minute, will go, 'OK,' and step in." In a recent interview, Jones told BBC Radio Devon that a new singer was being sought to take over for Plant. "We are trying out a couple of singers," he said. "We want to do it. It's sounding great, and we want to get on and get out there." But Jones insists that he, Page and Bonham aren't interested in finding a Plant clone. "It's got to be right," he said. "There's no point in just finding another Robert. You could get that out of a tribute band, but we don't want to be our own tribute band. There would be a record and a tour, but everyone has to be onboard." Of course, even if Zeppelin were to approach him, Cornell might be too busy to take over vocals for the band. His upcoming TimbalandTimbaland-produced solo LP, Scream, will be released within the next few months. Cornell told MTV News last month that some of his fans might consider Scream something of a departure, but he doesn't see it that way. "It makes me happy that there's this perception that I have a group of fans that I'm now sort of throwing a curve at and what their reaction will be," he said. "But I've been in this situation so many times already. When I put out [1999's] Euphoria Morning, my main goal was to create an album that sounded like nothing I'd done in Soundgarden, and I did that. I also had that with Temple of the Dog, where I showed up with songs that weren't necessarily riff-based. And then, of course, the pairing of me and members of Rage Against the MachineRage Against the Machine had everyone sort of speculating about what that would sound like. "It feels like I've done this so many times that when it's presented to me as being a departure, I feel that's a misconception," he added. "I feel like that's my theme at this point."

King of Pop's takeover leads to some head-scratching song choices.
By Jim Cantiello

"Glee" paid tribute to Michael Jackson during Tuesday night's episode and, shockingly, kept the story moving along in the midst of several MJ-inspired musical numbers. Kurt, Rachel and Quinn all received great news about college, Rachel finally accepted Finn's proposal and evil Sebastian's plot to harm Kurt with a doctored slushee backfired when Blaine took the hit for his boyfriend.

Yet the forced "all Michael, all the time" song selection led to some head-scratching scenes including Kurt, Rachel and Finn serenading an injured Blaine with Jackson's love song to a rat, "Ben," and two different music-video re-enactments only appealed to Jackson superfans. The rest of us can enjoy my latest "Glee-cap"! Hit play on the embedded video and sing along with these lyrics. "Glee," "Glee" 's really hit the skids MJ would have loved all the singing kids Time for a tribute Veiled as a dispute They all imitate Michael's vocal takes Wish they didn't try To simply ape his sigh I guess "Glee" got paid In tickets to Cirque du Soleil It's bad! It's bad! Come on! Oh, pointless themed episodes Make me push fast-forward on my TiVo Artie's "Scream" remake Complete with head shakes Tired of getting dissed Mike Chang's now his sis? Warblers fight for songs No prob doing wrong They're all blindly cruel Since Blaine left their school Quinn sang goodbye to every ex Have a seat, this'll take awhile (She's had lots of sex) Quinn got into Yale And I'm all, "How?" Then got distracted by Damian's hyper eyebrows They're bad! They're bad! Relax them! If you don't, I will come wax them! Slutpig tried to slushee Kurt But Blaine got in the way Left him needing surgery How dare you hurt my gay! Despite Blaine's cute eye patch Kurt is hungry for revenge But that's a different better show on ABC, my friend "Glee," drop the shtick, you're better than this Forcing Jackson songs is just as bad as this forced kiss Just because you can afford it doesn't mean it has worth Unless you're trying to give me nightmares In that case, it worked No more bells and whistles, please Clever songs are all you need I get it, Ryan Murphy, Blaine had to bleed So Darren could star in "How to Succeed" But making Kurt and Finchel sing "Ben" to Blaine Is the very definition of insane I hope next week they get it right With no stupid guests hogging "Glee" 's spotlight [Cue clip of next week's episode starring Ricky Martin] Whoops! What did you think of this week's "Glee"? Let us know in the comments!

Each individual day-to-day has an optimized route that leads to the objects wanted to trade for heirlooms. You can locate the best routes by you, or do some analysis in the discussion boards. But if you do not obtain that interesting than obtaining a skilled dailies guidebook could be superior for you.

The important is constantly to be aware of the amount of gold each and every and every single day by day pays out anytime you undertake them. It can be also wise to get time into consideration when ever making an attempt to make gold incredibly speedily in WoW employing dailies. These make up the important locations that Zygor Guides teach.

Numerous people today are now joining the ranks of Earth of Warcraft each individual day. It is really one of the most preferred games out there, and there are loads of factors for this.

Zygor Guides is constantly on the cusp and defeating out the competing companies - I have not even talked about their Loremaster guide that's designed in at no charge if perhaps you invest in their WoW Horde Leveling manual, or their Everyday and download which also rocks. Performing so might only just take up a whole lot of room and time.

Microsoft is very lively in the CMS (or written content administration technique) marketplace. For Microsoft .Net outlets, it can make perception to get Microsoft's CMS. But for other folks - and those making use of Java - rival CMSs are just as superior, or even far better. Those people needing multi-site, multi-viewers and multi-language abilities could want evidence that Microsoft's providing can scale up from departmental stage properly.

Now, I am the very pleased holder of full heirloom merchandise models for all classes and I attained my Crusader title quicker than I ever thought doable. All in all, I exploit Zygor's guides day by working day, and if you are trying to do dailies and get heirloom products and your Crusader title in file time you need to get the time to test out Zygor's Alliance and Horde Guides.

Zygor works by using 4 new critical things of their up to date, and dynamic data: permitting pre-leveled characters, employing the recruit-a-buddy bonus that WoW offers, accounting for gamers that get too significantly ahead and allowing players to use heirlooms. The pre-leveled character replace permits for any diploma of character or class use the details, and it will sync up to your stage. This will make the tutorial entirely dynamic, that means it molds to your use, not forcing you to generate a new character.

We've known since the day Oasis formed that Liam Gallagher CANNOT get along with his bandmate and brother Noel!
But apparently, the rocker, who now fronts The Beady Eye, simply has difficulty playing nice with just about anyone!
EVEN bad-ass actors like Idris Elba, whom you may recognize from Luther and/or Prometheus!
According to reports, the pair got [...]

Amid rumors that Spears will appear on Madge's 'Girls Gone Wild,' MTV News looks back at their history together.
By Jocelyn Vena

Could it be that Madonna has enlisted her pal Britney Spears for MDNA?

Well, according to a leaked album jacket, it seems that Spears is making an appearance on the album's lead track, "Girls Gone Wild." This would mark the second collaboration on the album. Madonna nabbed Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. for the album's first single, "Give Me All Your Luvin'." While the leaked jacket, which appeared on Britney fansite Breatheheavy.com, can't be confirmed as authentic, a rep for Madge had no comment about the rumor, neither confirming nor denying it. Meanwhile, a rep for Spears never returned MTV News' request for comment. This is hardly the first time that the two ladies have worked together. In fact, they have quite a history with each other. The duo kicked off their nearly decade-long friendship at the 2003 VMAs when, in case you hadn't heard, they shared an onstage kiss while performing together. It was the kiss seen and heard around the world, and nearly 10 years later it is still often talked about as one of the most memorable moments in the show's storied history. After they shared that smooch, Spears was inspired to get the Queen of Pop on her lead In the Zone single, "Me Against the Music." "I was in the middle of rehearsals for the VMAs and I played her the song, and she was like, 'That's your first single, right?' " Britney recalled in a vintage interview with MTV. "I was like, 'Yeah, hopefully.' She was like, 'I really like it.' I was like, 'Really?' I was like, 'Well, you wanna do it with me?' She said, 'Yeah.' " They later appeared together in the warehouse-set video with one another, playing a pop star cat-and-mouse game that featured a near kiss. Five years later, as Spears was prepping her return to the pop spotlight, she appeared onstage with Madonna during a Sticky & Sweet Tour stop at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. The singer hit the stage with the pop icon to perform "Human Nature" by her side. That same year, Madonna appeared in Spears' documentary, "For the Record," where she spoke about the younger singer. "I admire her as an artist," the Material Girl said, adding that she sees a lot of herself in Spears. In 2011, as Spears was prepping the release of her album Femme Fatale, in an interview with Out magazine, she noted that she truly admires her friend. "Madonna. No question. She is an amazing entertainer," she said when asked whose career she most would want to emulate. As Madonna preps the release of MDNA in March, Spears is also the topic of conversation in a recent interview with her. When asked by ABC News what it was like to smooch the pop princess, she commented, "Nice moment, good kisser. Cool," she said, clarifying that she wouldn't do it again. "No, I already did it. I don't like to repeat myself." Well, perhaps a kiss would be "reductive" (her word, not ours), but it seems given the love that Madge and Spears fans have for the two pop stars, they wouldn't mind them cooking up some musical magic. The track, "Girls Gone Wild," was teased in a megamix that dropped last week and it certainly feels like it would lend itself to both Madonna and Brit's musical sensibilities: It's fist-pumpingly dance-y, sexy and all about going out and having a good time, with Madge proclaiming, "Girls, they just want to have some fun/ Get fired up like a smoking gun/ On the floor till the daylight comes/ Girls, they just want to have some fun."

What would you think of a new Britney Spears/ Madonna collabo? See? See what y’all did? All that bashing of Anne Hathaway and her Oscar dress, and now she’s gotta issue an apology to People Magazine so y’all will forgive her. LMAO.
